libgstreamer-vaapi1.0-dev software package provides GStreamer development files for libraries from the vaapi set, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgstreamer-vaapi1.0-dev
libgstreamer-vaapi1.0-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgstreamer-vaapi1.0-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libgstreamer-vaapi1.0-dev *
You will get with libgstreamer-vaapi1.0-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
